What is the Wyoming Colorectal Cancer Screening Program (WCCSP)?
The WCCSP is the newest program added to the Wyoming Comprehensive Cancer Control Program. The purpose of the WCCSP is to increase screening for colon cancer and to decrease the number of Wyomingites who are diagnosed and die from colon cancer each year. There are several eligibility requirements. Not everyone who applies to the WCCSP will be eligible.
What are the eligibility requirements for the WCCSP?
- Age 50 or older (unless a waiver is completed by their healthcare provider pursuant to the WCCSPrules and regulations);
- At or below 250% Federal Poverty Limit;
- Uninsured or under-insured (current insurance does not cover entire costs related to screening);
- Patient of a clinic or hospital participating in the WCCSP; and
- Resident of Wyoming for one year.

Who can apply to the WCCEDP?
Anyone over the age of 50 may complete an enrollment application. Additionally, high risk patients who receive a waiver from their doctor may also apply. In order to enroll into the WCCSP, an interested applicant must:
- Fill out a WCCSP Enrollment Application;
- Sign an Affidavit of Residency;
- Sign an Informed Consent and Release of Medical Information form; and
- Proof of previous year’s income (income tax return or other necessary documentation).
