NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Wyoming Senior Services Board Meeting

Public notice is hereby given that the Wyoming Senior Services Board will meet on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. and Friday, March 19, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. These meetings will be held at the Central Wyoming Senior Center, 1831 East 4th Street, Casper, Wyoming.

The Wyoming Senior Services Board was enacted by the State of Wyoming Legislature, per W.S. § 9-2-1210, to be effective July 1, 2003. The Board was established to award funds to eligible senior centers, in accordance with W.S. § 9-2-1210, to meet the needs of Wyoming’s growing elderly population; to enhance and supplement existing programs for senior citizens; and, to strengthen the opportunity for senior citizens to live in the least restrictive environment possible. The Board will review and monitor the expenditures of the funds awarded.
